God delights when truth reigns in our inmost being (Psalm 51:6).
The world would say “to thine own self be true”…but the Bible says “God is truth” and every man is a liar…The word of God tells us to examine ourselves and live our lives through the word by faith…that our mind would be transformed… and that as we yield to the spirit that changes us…we would walk worthy of our calling.

Colossians 1:10, “Walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Philippians 1:27, “Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:1, “Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called.”
1 John 1:10
If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.

I saw the fires of God coming on the lives of believers…fires that destroyed the power of pride and deception fires of truth that burned in our lives and brought us all forth as gold purified and steadfast in the word of God .

Pride is rooted in deception and when pride is speaking it lies…
it does not speak truth…pride encourages us to seek our own selfish interests…above God’s.
Pride lies to us and prefers a deceptive illusion of self fulfillment thinking “I deserve” or “I’m entitled”…
Pride selfishly seeks advancement or self exaltation or protection over God’s exposing, humbling, but ultimately loving…merciful and liberating truth. Only the truth cures the LIE!

Pride operates through lies and dishonesty working to control and manipulate someone else’s perception of what’s “really true” for its OWN selfish interests.
Pride prefers deception to truth, and does not realize by doing so it’s bringing destruction to destiny..

The devil believed the lie that he was as good as God… That he deserved more…that he was worthy of more..and this deception stole his divine destiny…replacing it with a curse of everlasting perversion and carnality.

Pride refuses to live in the presence of God or to view himself properly in light of God sovereign majesty…
Pride always thinks it knows better…and it is better…
Pride compares himself to man…seeking what “he thinks” others have…while being blinded to the truth of what he already possesses…
Pride causes us to be full of selfish desires and will exalt self to get what we want at all costs.

God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
And because of his love…God will discipline the proud so that he may become humble.

One who hears the Word of God but doesn’t act accordingly is like one who “observes his bodily face in a mirror” but turns away and forgets what he looks like.

Scripture is practical. We cannot hear it or read it or walk in it properly…unless we have a heartfelt understanding for how Gods Word alone should “govern our lives” as BELIEVERS.

Mirror mirror in the book…
May I see…how I really look…
God desires truth in our inmost being, because he knows that ONLY “His truth” will set us truly free (John 8:32).
