Acts 18:9-11
“Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”
Today standing up and speaking up for truth sure isn’t easy. Evil is lurking around every corner and North America seems to have given in to a reign of demonic terror. Freedom of speech is slowly slipping away and forced agreement is the order of the day…
Even those who are people of faith that are proven in their prophetic call are given over to fear in the midst of this storm…and recanting and cowering at the insistence of other men and women.
As people of faith we should not be afraid to speak…God’s will is His intent and his desire…yet the free will of people can get in the way until they see the error of their our own choices…
Israel wanted a King…and God gave them what their heart desired though it wasn’t his will…that Saul would rule over them.
We need to use wisdom when we prophesy and we need to use wisdom in the interpretation of what we hear. We also need to be people of faith who rise and successfully resist and stand our ground during evil times…not being moved by the passions of the faint-hearted. Faith must be “all-weather” for God is always with us.
Ephesians 6:13 AMP
Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to successfully resist and stand your ground in the evil day of danger…and having done everything that the crisis demands to stand firm in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious.
